FarmMate Out-Grower Scheme

FarmMate’s Out-Grower Scheme is a structured contract farming model that connects farmers to guaranteed markets through coordinated production, technical supervision and assured offtake. With over 3,000 contracted farmers across 10 regions, the scheme integrates standardized production protocols, quality assurance and staggered planting cycles to ensure consistent, year-round supply of quality agricultural produce.

Farmer support and financing

Community Farming Enhancement Program (CFEP)

FarmMate’s Community Farming Enhancement Program (CFEP) is an integrated farmer support and financing model designed to improve productivity, reduce production risks and strengthen smallholder participation in commercial agriculture. Through access to quality inputs, irrigation, technical expertise, crop insurance and structured financing, CFEP equips farmers to achieve consistent yields and quality standards. Harvest-linked repayments support a revolving financing mechanism for subsequent production cycles.

FarmMate’s Apprenticeship Program is a structured workforce development initiative designed to equip young professionals with practical skills and industry experience across agricultural production, post-harvest operations and agribusiness management. Through hands-on training and professional development, the program builds a skilled workforce for the agricultural value chain. Its 12-month farm operations track has developed over 15 Farm Operations Specialists, with further expansion through a strategic partnership with the National Service Authority.
